The Meld table was designed as an exploration of continuity and contrast: a contrast between the hard, cold, flat stone and the soft, warm, curved wood, which is juxtaposed with the continuity of form as the wooden frame extends the stone tabletop and resolves it with a rounded, soft edge.

The design allows for further exploration through the choice of combinations of various stone types and wood finishes. A product designed to be timeless, through the use of noble, natural materials, and honest - by embracing traditional craftsmanship and joinery.
